Richard Hamilton 2017 Hut Block Cabernet Sauvignon, $21
Pull this one out when you want something big and bold to go with a hearty beef stew or perhaps a bolognese or other rich pasta sauce. It’s got loads of flavour and a persistent long finish, with hints of mint, chocolate and cinnamon. From a winemaker that never disappoints, this is a good one to put down for a few more years or to tuck into straight away if you can’t resist.
