How beautiful is this archway of orange trumpet vine in the grounds of the Old Museum in Brisbane? We were there for the Finders Keepers market at the weekend, on a glorious winter’s day when the sky was magnificent and the grounds of the historic 1891 building were a riot of colour. Alongside the orange trumpet vine was an equally showy, bright red poinsettia – it might be inextricably linked with Christmas but here in Queensland it speaks of winter.
