London distiller Charles Tanqueray created 300 recipes before landing on the perfect one for Tanqueray London Dry Gin, the crisp dry gin he introduced to the world in 1830. Now, inspired by his travels to France in the 1840s, Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale Gin is set to offer a different taste sensation.
Crafted with a Tanqueray London Dry Gin base, the new Blackcurrant Royale is rich and sumptuous. Made from juicy French blackcurrants with additional vanilla and floral notes, it’s an intriguing new choice for gin lovers.
It pairs beautifully with premium tonic water in a Copa glass full of ice, or if you want to really impress, serve it in a classic coupette glass with Prosecco and lemon as per the recipe here.
The Tanqueray range also includes Flor de Sevilla, drawing on the bittersweet taste of Seville oranges, and Rangpur Lime, an exotic blend of Rangpur lime, bay leaves and ginger. Blackcurrant Royale is available from leading liquor retailers, RRP $66 for a 700ml bottle.
