Cherry Bircher Muesli

Kick start the day with this healthy breakfast dish.

CHERRY BIRCHER MUESLI

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and sliced
1 cup low-fat natural yoghurt
¼ cup slivered almonds
1 teaspoon sunflower seeds
½ cup rolled oats
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup sultanas
1 cup reduced-fat milk or soy milk

METHOD

Mix oats, sunflower seeds, sultanas and slivered almonds in a bowl. Cover the mixture in milk and soak overnight. The next morning, add yoghurt and cherries.
Sprinkle cinnamon to taste.
