Novotel Barossa

The best part about staying at the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort is waking up to the glorious vineyard views.

The resort has 140 apartments, including 116 studio rooms and 24 two-bedroom apartments, all with private balconies.

There’s an 18-hole golf club and Endota day spa on site, and daily complimentary wine tastings with a local winemaker.

I didn’t get a chance to dine in Harrys Restaurant but I’m told that the executive chef, Francis Luzinier, has worked in top hotels around the world.

Until the end of the year, the restaurant is offering High Tea every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm, with a three-tiered assortment of goodies and a glass of Barossa wine for $35. Bookings: (08) 8524 0025
